Music therapists use music as a treatment aimed at promoting good health and wellbeing. People respond to music in a wide variety of ways; responses can be physical, emotional or cognitive. Music therapists use both live and recorded music to facilitate change and well-being. Anne Horne-Thompson is a music therapist who works with people with terminal illnesses.
